Yes, black people have a higher level of physical violence than others in this country.

However, I have mixed heritage and my WASP ex-husband was extremely abusive. I'm lucky I'm alive right now.

Some people will kill you with their fists.

Others will blow up your car or put nails in your tires.

Just know the person you go out with -- and it's not too much to run a background check.
