Immigrants and their offspring are no longer expected to shed their old identities and adopt a new one as an American and most don't. That only worked, and it didn't work as well as people think, when Whites were 90% of the population and White Gentiles dominated it, politically, economically and culturally. The Democratic Party is the anti-White, post-American party. The US is just an economic zone and territory for conquest by newly-arrived tribes.
