I see a lot of backlash against Mitch, but we sort of need him in the Senate. He's one of the few people that is really well versed in parliamentary procedure, and was able to slow walk/shut down 0bama's agenda from 08-16, and ram Trump's stuff through.

Without him, none of Trump's nominations or agenda could've succeeded. He hauled ass to get people confirmed and get Senators to vote in lockstep on things like tax cuts and SCOTUS nominees.

He worked with the dems to let the Jan 6 debacle happen to discredit the most popular incumbent in the history of the US, and discredit his voters.
