I'm for "free" in-state college, yes. Just like we have "free" grade schools in communities. I'm also for career assessments BEFORE admitting someone into a program. I don't think tax-payers should be backing loans for Arts programs or degrees that don't meet certain criteria for employment. There is a balance to be found, but keeping young people enslaved with never-ending interest is a crime!
