While we have freedom of association and the 2nd Amendment patriots need to organize into defense groups at the neighborhood and city level. It wouldn't hurt to read a few books on tactical skills and practice a little bit. Get to the range regularly and improve your marksmanship. If the country goes to shit, you may have a chance to preserve your small part of it.
