Australia wants to (or maybe already did) enact laws that force internet companies to pay news media for using as little as the headlines of articles. Might just be Facebook kicking them off their service so they don't have to pay.
Still being negotiated, but apparently the treasurer has been going well with his discussions with Google and Facebook. AllI I know is google hates it, so it's probably a good thing.
