I was a sophomore in high school back in 1991 and my mom’s boy friend an big Italian guy dating my short little immigrant mom from Taiwan was playing his talk show on AM radio in the car while picking me up from Alhambra High School in Southern California. At that time I was all about “taking care” of the Earth and sharing wealth and anti-wealthy people.

Rush said something about liberals always caring about how to redistribute everyone else’s wealth and discrediting and watering out achievements of people was very much how Chinese communism was got me interested in his message.

This man shook my beliefs and converted me from a Democrat to a moderate conservative that has voted republican ever election since I was legal able to vote.

My stomach hurts so much today hearing this... Rush will always be family inside me... Losing my grandma then Rush... I feel empty today... Grown man in tears...
