I'm out of the loop. Been freezing my ass off for like 4 days now, with only a handful of hours of power during that whole time. Today is the first day I've had a decent amount of power and internet access. Just found out Rush has passed. RIP. Don't know what the fuck is happening in Texas, just that ERCOT is apparently fucking morons?

Texan here. I just lost power again as it starts to drop below 30. Fuck ERCOT and Fuck Abbott.
In Florida, everyone has electric heat because it’s not used much. Is Texas the same? If so, I don’t think any amount of power plants could handle that load in single digits for a week.
