Heard this the other day as well. There was apparently a time between Hoover and current day when the FBI actually had patriots working in it and wasn't around just to collect blackmail on people.

Thank him for his service! He probably can’t talk much about his previous work. Many of them were unsung heroes. It’s too bad that they reputations were maligned by their leadership like Comey.

Dept. of Criminal Cover-up

I won't open my door because I don't trust or respect the authority of the FBI.

I would incline to disagree; The Pinkerton detective agency was far better than the FBI in every aspect. The FBI was the government monopolizing that field, even going as far to prevent any Government worker from using anyone outside of the FBI for investigations.

Same thing happened with USPS before that.

Well, they do get credit for investigating/arresting Epstein the first time, and the second time though it took Trump getting elected to make that possible it seems. And they get credit for Gislaine Maxwell too, though again that seems to only have been possible because Barr fired a prosecutor.

They should get the credit for killing Epstein.

This post is much appreciated. I know that we pedes give the FIB a lot of grief but It would be interesting to hear from past and present employees to hear their personal thoughts rather than the official line.

Wait, is the FBI asking people to tone down the rhetoric?
