Last restaurant I went to had me using a QR code to look at a menu, order, and pay through a browser. The automatic tip was set to 18%. What the fuck!? The only person I interacted with was the expo who brought the food and they are all on only upon request mode with napkins, straws, and fuckin’ ketchup packets. The absolute state of things.

I waited on Ivana Trump at Charlie's Crab in 2011. She was so fucked up on pills that when the gentleman she came in with and was eating with went to the bathroom, she told me that she didn't know who he was and to call the police. Melania was definitely an upgrade. I also worked at several other restaurants on Palm Beach from 2011 to 2014 and the stories I could tell are almost beyond belief.

I met the Hulkster in an airport by the baggage claim one time. I called him by his real first name and he had a big smile and a handshake for me. He then proceeded to pick up his own bag and carry it himself.
No way to prove it but I think people like us are just generally good tippers. My parents always tipped well. No virtue signaling here but I had an instacart order tonight, set it to 20%, and then gave the guy an additional tip when he got here because the roads are slick as shit in this area. My liberal younger half brother though, the guy has worked as a waiter and bartender, always preaches about tipping your waiters but the last time I went out to eat with the fucker (2016, he talked too much shit about Trump and made the meal and hang out time unbearable). This fucker left 5 fucking dollars on his damn near $100 tab and I had to drive his sorry ass home.

He took his friend out to their favorite restaurant as a treat, was shocked at how cheap he was, next time as the other treated, he tipped so well the WHOLE staff came out to thank him..He asked the manager how many people on staff tonight.. before the evening, gave him a hundred for each, that was a protip, still tipped afterward too!
