That was an evil moderator on the old "The_Donald" subreddit, who edited users comments that criticized him. It became a shorthand for any edit on that forum.

Spez wasn't a mod for TD, he owns reddit. The only reason he could edit other people's comments was because he had an admin account. It was actually a huge deal when he got caught because it proved that nothing on reddit could ever be trusted, as an admin could come in at any time and change what you had typed to whatever they wanted.
