I was about to post something similar. Eyes Wide Shut may have gotten her father killed.
Yeah. Kubrick submitted the final film to the studio, and a few days later he suddenly dropped dead of a heart attack even though he'd recently had a checkup with his doctor who told him he was in good health. Even Kubrick's wife believed that he was murdered.
Supposedly the cut of Eyes Wide Shut that was released to the public was 20 minutes shorter than the Kubrick cut. There are rumors that the deleted footage includes scenes where Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman's characters are ordered to give their child up for human sacrifice by the cabal. In the version that was released to the public, it's never even mentioned that the two characters had a child.

There is a scene where their presumed kid is ushered away by two men in a store with the symbolism of Tom and Nicole being compliant with giving up their kid... it’s super fast... like maybe 1.5 seconds long
I've watched the movie before, and the kid is a part of the movie. Referring to Kubrick's death, why would they still release the film at all if they were willing to go as far as killing him? Not that I doubt that they would kill him, I just think they would make an excuse to not release the movie as well.

At that time, it is possible that the 'good guys' were still working behind the scenes. Perhaps the powerful perverts of Hollywood didn't quite own the FBI/DOJ yet and could only do so much. There are a lot of interesting 'coincidences' about Kubrick's death, but I'm still chalking it up as conspiratorial until I see something more substantial.
Btw, Kubrick was an absolute genius filmmaker. He's one of my favs.
They actually enjoy flaunting the truth right in front of your face and laughing about it. They feel like it gives them power and makes it impossible for their crimes to be seen by the general population.
