and then 99 percent of what is sent gets seized, used, and/or sold by the local warlords and the people are no better off than before - sometimes worse
Even after years and years and years of sending food and aid to these miserable hellholes around the world - including some U.S. inner cities - nobody ever noticed that things never got any better.
Nobody ever noticed that whoever was 'leading' these places always had the best of everything while their people went on and on suffering with nothing.
