Dude - it was 7* in SE Texas Tuesday morning. Due to power outages, many people saw freezing temps inside their homes.
The coldness has already claimed over 20 people.
I've lived in Texas all my life, and this is the first time I've ever seen a snow/cold event keep the same snowfall intact on the ground for over 4 days. Today was the first day the temperature ventured up over 30* - but this was short lived. It's now back under 30, with more snow on the way.
It was -2* in Dallas that morning - temps not seen in 81 years.
NOTE: it does not need to be below freezing for hypothermia to set in.
Calm down? Are you serious? What is wrong with you? People need water because their pipes have been frozen since Sunday morning - yes it will thaw out by Saturday, but tell that to my 5 year year niece who is in fucking hell because they don't have water, there is no water at the grocery stores and the news is telling everyone to boil water but there is no power to boil water if you had any.
I am here in Dallas, we have power now, we lost it for 13 hours Monday. I have a generator and never felt the impact. Most of my neighbors are dealing with frozen drains. In McKinney TX they are still without power. Our babysitter has been sleeping at her job every night because her apartment and her parents houses are both without power. It’s pretty serious in that you can’t find firewood, snow shovels, salt, snow chains, or even food
Dude, it's like in the high 20's in Texas and the lows are in the low 20's. That's not even that fucking bad.
It's hitting past 32 degrees for most of the state tomorrow and it'll be in the high 40's-low 50's on Saturday.
Calm down. it's going to thaw. You don't realize how fast snow melts when it's 40 degrees out.

Once again, WELL THE HELL IS FEMA WITH SOME WATER FOR THESE POOR PEOPLE.
Are people really freezing to death then, or it it just MSM propaganda? I honestly don't know anymore.
