Had frozen pipes once and you don't end up with a photo shopped ice cycle on the faucet. You simply turn the knob for water and nothing comes out.

Feel bad for so many in the southern states.

It will freeze like that if it's only dripping. It has to be a stream of water to prevent freezing.
