I hear ya but from the opposite end. I’m used to power outages as a person living in california. we get our power shut off multiple times of year from wind or whatever else. last year it was shut off on the hottest days of the year (topped 114 degrees) I’m fortunate to have been raised by a father who loved camping. So, I have a large cache of a camping gear(such as a small gas stove) and every person I know in my community has a generator. I really do encourage every pede to invest in such things. especially as dems push for the whole country to go “green” with unreliable sources, no real game plan and mismanagement.
