My medical office staff and I got our second dose of the Moderna vaccine last week. The second dose caused muscle pain, body aches, fever and shaking chills. I stayed in bed the next day. I have never had this severe a reaction to a vaccine. Everyone is doing fine and were better in 2 days.
Is this vaccine for everyone? NO. Am I glad I got it? Yes. Each person needs to be able to make their own decision. We did not require employees to get it.

"yay I got the vaccine!"
"wait so I still have to wear a mask, and social distance and this pretty much did nothing for me?"
GTFO
Why are you glad you poisoned yourself. That's so self punishing for no rewards
Definitely not happy about the side effects. Want to report truthfully to Pedes. I would not give this vaccine to children and pregnant women. Young adults don't need it. We really only need to vaccinate those 60 and older and those is high risk groups.
Good question. If you are the 20 y/o taking care of grandma then you should get the vaccine and frail grandma should not. There are no easy answers. We at the office take care of many frail elderly and got the vaccine.
So how will most people 60 and up handle muscle pain, body aches, fevers, shaking and chills? Especially if they have pre-existing medical conditions? Could those side effects in some cases be deadly to people in poor health?
That is the problem in a nut shell. Who is too old/sick/frail to safely get the vaccine? I am 61, healthy and handled the side effects well. There are 100 y/o people who will handled the side effects well. But, some frail 85 y/o may tilt and get into a downward spiral. We don't yet know who should not get the vaccine.
Russian Roulette.
Say hello to Rush for me when you see him.
Please site your legitimate reasons for getting this experimental vaccine
We see Covid patients in the office.
I think it's mostly a placebo. Not in the sense that it does nothing, but in the sense that it won't work as advertised and they're just trying restore consumer confidence so they can brag about turning the economy around without actually giving up any of their new power.
The reason they don't have a cure for the common cold is that it changes faster than we can make an effective vaccine. Since they can't actually isolate this virus(that I know of) I assume it's the same as all other covid diseases.
In a few months this vaccine will be useless, if it's not all ready.
