The stores around Houston had people waiting in long lines outside. Inside, even Wednesday, there was no meat, bread, milk, eggs. Soup remaining was things like cream of cancerous chicken gizzards. Frozen potatoes? The only ones remaining were Jalapeno Loaded Diaper flavored frozen fries.

I did find lots of beans to make a big pot of chili. Have a lot of frozen beef and chicken. I have plenty of flour to make bread, but I don't eat much bread.

Man that is unreal. It was pretty normal out there (normal for 2021) a few weeks ago right?

Good on you getting the beans, and avoiding the loaded diaper fries LOL. Smart to stock up, you'll be popular with all your flour. Any indication of things getting under control?

Nothing's out of control. Power is mostly back for people. It was a lack of supply during the winter (usually not a peak season for energy) more than anything. Relying on wind farms was part of the issue. Sending gas out of state was an issue - there wasn't enough to maintain supply to power generators for TX.

That's great to hear, this should teach most of the country a lesson about energy. They're building a house of cards with their green magic, I hope people look at the evidence in front of them right about now.
