Not really, if your letting people convicted of Felony Child Molestation not have to disclose that status to employers of a place like say a Comic Shop or TCG / Gaming Store you could literally having a Pedophile working for you and not even know it until they offend again.

You are right. And, generally, why should an employer not have the right to know the background of a prospective employee?
