It is all shut down in TX. TX vegetables and fruits produce have been destroyed by the winter storm and livestock and chickens have died off due to no power and no natural gas. It is SNAFU. Oil and natural gas refineries are also kaput this whole week. (www.click2houston.com)

The problem was that "non-regulated by the feds" TX grid skimped on winterizing the grid and pipelines. They can't even transport natural gas to power plants because of the lack of winterizing of the infrastructure. The GOP are in charge of TX govt and they really skimped on winterizing the grid and infrastructure. If Abbott runs in 2022 it will be the death of the TX GOP and Beta O'rourke will be governor.
