It's not really their fault - you can't make plans for an event that might happen every fifty years, but I didn't know that TX had been slowly shutting down real power generation and replacing it with the eco-greenie BS. Extremely bad move.

This article is really well written and researched and the most comprehensive summary of the severity and grip of the storm as well as the four forms of energy used in the grid. This deserves a rising or a sticky. I saved it and hope you guys will read and discuss with family and friends. The narrative is already in MSM that “wind is the most reliable energy source.” It is abjectly false the moment incline to weather arrives.
