Not eveb that. The black regiments that fought did not do so for money. They did it to be free. 40 acres and a mule was a meme even back then. No man goes to war for a fucking sterile donkey. They did it cause they believed that all men should be free. And their decendants are disgracing that memory asking for a hand out in cash.
