Can someone please explain to me why it is my responsibility to pay for anyone else’s degree, worthless or not? Do I get a percentage of that person’s earnings after they graduate? No? Then why should I pay? And I don’t want to hear any B.S. about paying it forward either. If their degree is worthless they’re not exactly contributing to society in a meaningful way are they? Or if Omar is any example to look to, she got a worthless degree and still became a U.S. congresswoman. Why does she need anyone to pay off her loans? Fucking ridiculous.
