Texas has seen no help from fema or red cross. Not one fucking ounce of help. We are Freezing, We have No Water, No Power, No Internet. Grocery Stores are empty, cant find anything.

Now This Story Comes Out On Our Local Fake News.... https://abc13.com/weather/fema-sending-60-generators-to-texas-amid-power-outages-/10349070/... But if you read story it seems like they are more worried about vaccine spots. This is now going on 5 days and they are talking of sending food and water and supplies and Generators... Wtf where the hell has all this shit been... Still Have Not Seen Anything.

time to chop down all the windmills and go straight coal and oil energy production. Belt out plumes of smoke.

All that natural gas NOT being used . It's one of the cleanest , energy efficient ways to generate power . Texas should demand that GRID OPERATOR start CONNECTING back to gas fired generating plants INSTEAD of those ugly , bird killing wind mills.

To be fair, other States have windmills that operate in sub-zero temperatures every year with no/few problems. Texas chose to build windfarms that couldn't take low temps, and a grid that couldn't quickly handle farm dropouts.

Texas needs to prioritize: 1) fixing the current grid breakdowns, 2) keeping the backup plants running, 3) expanding quick-start gas-turbine backups, 4) winterizing windfarms.

There is no reason Texas can't succeed here. This was a failure of planning. All of these lapses can be corrected. Texas building codes should probably be upgraded considering how long the Solar Minimum will be.
