Texas has seen no help from fema or red cross. Not one fucking ounce of help. We are Freezing, We have No Water, No Power, No Internet. Grocery Stores are empty, cant find anything.

Now This Story Comes Out On Our Local Fake News.... https://abc13.com/weather/fema-sending-60-generators-to-texas-amid-power-outages-/10349070/... But if you read story it seems like they are more worried about vaccine spots. This is now going on 5 days and they are talking of sending food and water and supplies and Generators... Wtf where the hell has all this shit been... Still Have Not Seen Anything.

Snow is not the problem.....cold and no power is the problem

So, preparation for emergencies is the problem.

Yes lack of preparedness is a problem, I think the bigger issue is this has been going on a while now and could easily have been fixed earlier this week. The fact that they aren’t dealing with this when we know they can is the big question.......

I'm in college station and no one is really getting to fucked. Maybe in an near sanctuary city with too many dumb people they are having a hard time, but where I'm at everyone is just sort of inconvenienced.

Like. I just had on/off power and had to cook when power was on and do something else besides youtube when power was off. And then someone else's apartments pipe busted and fucked my whole building and so there is no water. But the electrical is back so. I don't know.

I have water, food, shelter not in any kind of emergency. Had thermostat at 68 on heat and don't think got below 60 with rolling power. Literally just got out the 30° sleeping bags and put them beneath comforter. Uh.. yeah don't know. A lot of people around here aren't really worried the stores are getting bare because they don't have trucks coming in, but I mean I have pantry food for month easy. Rice beans flour, canned proteins, water. A lot of people do. Some people are grabbing and hoarding but I'm just taking what I need in case of power issue again don't want to get stuck with a lot of bulk meat or dairy.

But again. In the college station/bryan area no one is suffering. Line wrapped around chick fil a last night at 9:00pm as they were closing lol.

Got friends and family out to navasota to south and Iola to north co workers in hearne No one is having a hard time, just inconvenient, maybe a little grungy and bored.

Average adult not having problems. Special medical needs maybe having problems. Homeless maybe having problems Unprepared illegal / impoverished maybe having problems. 90% average citizens just mildly agitated, of they are crying it's because they are just spoiled. The only problem that is concerning is the logistics because we suck at freight transport in snow so logistics are just pause until temps stay over 32° for more than 24 hours. Rolling power outage was interupting internet and power so info and ordering was also interupted for stores and business. But now power is back and coming back quickly for others we just have to Wait for trucks to equip for snow/liability issues to resolve or snow to melt whichever comes first

Then we have to go around and repair a bunch of leaky pipes and we are good to go.

Average person literally just needs to sign on their ass with a blanket and eat Raman for a week. Still spoiled should not be crying

Edit: many of us enjoyed the added benefit of not being obligated to show up to work as well. I got free passes on tardy for sure. I woke up with the sun until I got ready took my time and got to blame it on snow but really the drive wasn't that bad.

You SHOULD care about the problem since your commenting and wrongly stating people are sitting around complaining about some snow.
