Texas has seen no help from fema or red cross. Not one fucking ounce of help. We are Freezing, We have No Water, No Power, No Internet. Grocery Stores are empty, cant find anything.

But if you read story it seems like they are more worried about vaccine spots. This is now going on 5 days and they are talking of sending food and water and supplies and Generators... Wtf where the hell has all this shit been... Still Have Not Seen Anything.
So Texas should have built up and prepared for a winter storm that might happen once a century? You know what happens when that line item comes up in the budget? People ask "why are you wasting our money on that!"
Remember what you're saying right now, the next time Michigan has a week of 110+ degree heat and northerners start having power outages due to the stress of the ACs and fans on the power grid. And bodies start piling up due to heat stroke from those that either don't have AC or can't afford the electric bill. "Well, I guess they should have prepared for that!"
They should have spent the little extra money and winterized their grid. That's what they should have done.
But they didn't because they didn't think they'd need it.
