Texas has seen no help from fema or red cross. Not one fucking ounce of help. We are Freezing, We have No Water, No Power, No Internet. Grocery Stores are empty, cant find anything.

Now This Story Comes Out On Our Local Fake News.... https://abc13.com/weather/fema-sending-60-generators-to-texas-amid-power-outages-/10349070/... But if you read story it seems like they are more worried about vaccine spots. This is now going on 5 days and they are talking of sending food and water and supplies and Generators... Wtf where the hell has all this shit been... Still Have Not Seen Anything.

The last time it snowed in my area, was back in 2017. Before that, I was still in elementary school. I'm 34 now.

Its super rare that this part of Texas gets snow, especially 2 times within a week.

Not once have I ever needed a generator since living here, and now i'm being told I should have "prepared".

Its like telling someone who lives in a desert to bring a snow plow.

No it's like telling someone who lives in a desert to get a generator, because power ain't 100% reliable anywhere.

You realize most people who are in real trouble because of this are single moms who live in cities, many of them in apartment buildings. Where the fuck are they going to keep a generator?

Quit being a fucking retard.

Hijacking this just to say, be mad at single moms, but I know of several old people who died in a rural town in a red af state during a blizzard in a similar situation several years ago. But they're old, so fuck them right?
