Let's see - I've already dropped a bunch of cash to take the kids and wife on vacation - the Senate is in recess (no Senate work going on) - my home state, one of the largest energy producers in the WORLD has fucked itself into oblivion by bowing to the climate gods that I have denounced.
So should I stay and BLOVIATE - get nothing done, or go with the wife and kids for some needed family time?
I blame T Boone Pickens for most of this. He was losing money on natural gas because of fracking, so he made a $2 billion bet on wind turbines, but wouldn't pay land owners enough to place them. Then he convinced the gov't to bail him out and promptly died. His heirs thank you from their yachts.
