We met two couples while I was vacationing in Fl at a brewery. One couple was from the SF Bay areas and had just driven across country to move. My wife and I don’t typically start conversations of politics with strangers. But this couple started talking about why they moved and how bad it was. They also started about how the Capitol thing was blown out of proportion and the election stolen. The other couple agreed- here my wife and I were just listening filled with pride. Great moment.
That's one positive out of all this since the pandemic I've been able to discover new friendships and weed out acquatainces who have been completely indoctrinated. When, I see other people in stores or restaurants without masks I know there's a good chance they're probably based. I met some people at a bar the other night who honestly looked like a typical hipster liberals with skinny jeans and emo hair and they were based as fuck. They were like fuck masks and were trashing cancer culture and how out of control it is
They definitely are. Our biggest problem now is convincing people they still need to vote even though it seems pointless. We absolutely have to keep voting. We lose for sure if we don't. We need to vote in even bigger numbers than ever and either break the system (which we already did) or continued to make it so laughably obvious. But this is going to be our biggest challenge.
Fresh out of college here and I ran XC & track... also enjoy the outdoors. Would say that ppl could stereotype me as a lefty... Proud to be BASED! Always had conservative values and started listening to multiple conservative talk shows in college. I still remember debating 2A in lecture and this one kid said that they would rather not defend themself... wtf I just facepalmed after that. Some of these ppl would rather fold up and die in the name of gun control.
Went to school in WV and now I'm working out of the DC area... already want to GET OUT. Already talking with some good friends from school about migrating somewhere. FL is defiantly on the list. Definatly DEEPLY concerned about the direction of the country. I am trying to really evaluate long-term goals and values and make a good choice on a career move.

I've got a based nephew who is currently a high jumper in college, or he was until Covid wiped out 2 track seasons. My Lefty Sister hates the fact that he takes after me on these issues.

How is your nephew doing? I can't imagine missing out on seasons and trying to train for this long alone. I don't think ppl quite grasp the damage that is being done to students & athletes of all educational levels.
I have heard of some fucked up shit going on at my old school. I heard that a group from one of the teams got caught going to a restaurant a county over and the security busted into their dorm full gestapo mode at night and put them in the 'covid dorm'. About to ring a friend to hear how things are going and if he knows if that story is 100% fact. Let me remind you this is happening in WV... I have a feeling that there are some crazy things going on at universities that aren't being talked about. They can just expel kids if they don't comply.
