I remember going to a lecture by an attorney that practiced environmental law and he gave an entire presentation to the group of paralegals and attorneys that drew a correlation between the wind farms put in Oklahoma and their locations and the bizarre amount of small earthquakes we were having. It was fascinating. He explained how wind farming was completely unsustainable and the only reason people invested in it was for the government money up front. The investors historically haven't even had the money to take them down when the lifespan of the turbine is through. What happens to a turbine that malfunctions? They can spin until a blade breaks off and that blade becomes a projectile that can travel 2 miles away. Fun times. I hate the turbines. Hydro electric is much more useful.
