If you live in Texas and you have suffered like me know this: The Texas Governor, ERCOT and the PUC have blood on their hands. The Greens in government and their supporters have blood on their hands. The rush for feel good policies have real world consequences.

Beyond that is adding insult to injury for all businesses. How many billions of dollars will be the economic impact? How many people were out of work and didn't get paid? How many businesses lost revenue. No idea what that number is yet because it's still happening.

How many people now live in a home with severe water damage? How many pets were lost? How much food spoiled? How many people lived in their cars because they were all electric in their homes/apartments and had no way to heat anything?

How many billions did these generators of energy and retailers make since deregulation? How much have you paid to these people? How much in taxes have you paid on your bills for reliable power. Electricity and airlines are the most regulated yet deregulated industries. Government regulations on the industry and lack of oversight did us in. They had a duty of care and played Russian roulette with our energy needs. And just like Government does the changes are coming after the fact, there are no proactive changes.

Why do people have to die to make things better when Government is in charge?
