It takes about 20 to 40 minutes to get an image from mars to Earth because physics... they just now touched down and are already showing images from the surface, it's been like a few minutes only. What's up with that???

Maybe everything was with such a delay and in reality it all already happened, but we just got the data about all of that?
Just a guess
