They are defeated quite easily = just start coughing.

In my state we have a mask mandate which explicitly states medical exemptions may exist for masks and only employers and schools can ask for proof. I printed out the order and highlighted the relevant portions and just hand it to anyone who tells me I have to leave.

Funny thing, I don't have to say I have an exemption I just point out they're not allowed to ask me. Personally though I think masks are a threat to my mental health as well as my CS.

When I go shopping, I am wearing a clown mask with a disposable mask pinned to it. It makes people laugh and it makes them think. When they ask me why, I tell them "Clowns wear masks!"
