It's not just green energy, of the 43,000 MW out, 26,500 of that is thermal. So the outage consists of 60% thermal and 40% solar and wind. First you need to show that an outage of 17,000 MW would cause the rolling blackouts and if you can do that then you sure as hell can show that 26,500 would likewise cause outages. Stop using your damn agenda to make dumb points. I don't like the green new deal bullshit more than anyone else here, but it's not solely responsible for our problems.
It's 22% of the grid, not 15% of the grid for solar and wind.
