I'm with you. Hearing what people in TX were saying made me realize something. I take for granted the reality that I face every year. I know how much it sucks when you're used to it and you know what to do. I can't imagine how hard it's been on people there.
It pisses me off when I see people from up north calling Texans pussies. This is the time when neighbors are supposed to band together and lift each other up. If I wasn't hundreds of miles away, you can bet your ass I'd be pitching in to help everyone I could. As it is, the best I can do is give some tips on dealing with worst case scenarios.

It sucks now,p, biput you’ll get through this. We had an ice storm 10 years ago and no power for 10 days. The temp never went above 16. Luckily we had a small generator and pellet stove.
