Saw all the morons on Reddit yesterday complaining about it as if someone forced them to sign on the dotted line. Never once has a liberal heard of "personal responsibility."

Before COVID people with useless degrees were picking up jobs left and right for the first time ever. Now it’s back to working at Starbucks and hoping that the next president will force the rich to pay for all of their poor financial decisions.

This.

I know some liberals who are falling on some major hard times right now, but still blame Trump for everything.

But they were very prosperous during his presidency.

The most basic principle to being a free American is the notion that we as individuals are responsible for our own lives and decisions. We do not have the right to rob our neighbors to make up for our mistakes, neither does our neighbor have any right to tell us how to live, so long as we aren’t infringing on their rights. Freedom to make bad decisions is inherent in the freedom to make good ones. If we are only free to make good decisions, we are not really free.

By merely existing, everyone around me is affecting my rights and my health.

God I wish Ron had won in 2008 or 2012. I'm a fan of Trump, mostly because he's fearless, but from a policy standpoint, I think we missed our generation's chance of greatness by failing to elect Ron Paul.

Just getting rid of the Fed alone would have reintroduced an enormous amount of freedom and prosperity on the country, let alone if he could have dismantled the extremely dangerous "safety net".

This is not the only meaning to this meme. The irony of Bernie Bros being baited and switched is surface level. Deep down it shows massive cracks in the ideas laid out by the left.
