I watched some of this hearing today. Totally and completely disgusted with our government. There were only 2 congressmen in the 1 hr (of 4+) that I watched who seemed to grasp the issue at hand & had intelligent questions:Rep. Anthony Gonzalez of Ohio and a rep out of Texas. Gonzalez was very impressive (too bad he voted for impeachment. tho). Others just embarrassing:
-One woman rep's main point was that the stock market is unfair because poor people dont have money. Also that the Robinhood app was designed to be fun, like gambling.
-An elitist rep from Massachusetts was worried that a group of Redditors wanting to "stick it to the hedge funds" could disrupt our markets, what about bad foreign actors?
And 82 yo Maxine Waters was struggling w tech and acting like a $7/hr hall monitor
