Unschoolers are people who *make no efforts to compel their kids to formal education (e.g. ‘hippy’ types who believe in child’s self-direction, ‘farmers’ who believe the ‘task will do the teaching’, etc.)
Their kids test within a single grade level of kids attending public-school.
The entire public school system (and its unions) serve as political power reservoirs and money laundering operations, with a heavy dose of Marxist indoctrination and mindless consumer factory production work by paid 5th columnists embedded into its ranks as taxpayer-funded employees, all hiding behind hysterical “think of the children!” rational to avoid facing any accountability for their actions.
Schools are a convenient prison for kids so parents can go to work. Education is secondary. About time you realised it before suggesting a better alternative.
Imagine you're a young shop owner and 10 years from now you're selling something you sell costs 5 dollars and one of these little common core casualties gives you 4 $1 Dollar Bills. You'd be like...

Some sort of school is needed for underprivileged kids. Those that can, should pull their kids out and homeschool. Some just can't. Small percentage but they exist. The teachers don't realize they will be putting themselves out of work if they keep doing what they're doing. I already homeschool my kiddos.
That sounds like some pablum straight out of the libtard playbook. It's not from lack of being exposed to the grossness of public school "education" that causes these problems for kids--most additional problems over and above usual ones can likely be attributed to the "masking" and "staying home" BS promulgated by the Left. Don't just accept what you're told to think...think for yourself using your own fine intellect.
I was actually thinking about the issue with underprivileged kids and then realized that having free flowing vouchers would create incentives for advertising to parents and possibly even more important in this situation the kids.
Sure there will always be parents who don't give a damn, but how many don't give a damn because there's no incentive too? What if suddenly their kids are asking why they can't go to XYZ academy vs Prison Pipeline Elementary when there's no difference in cost.
If certain schools or levels of schooling become a status symbol (as some currently do) then it will only increase participation.

These poison centers have given us the bunch of malleable morons we see being paid to loot, burn, rob, and raise hell...they have no sense of right or wrong, no morals, no standards. Whatever they had when they went to the union-government schools was quickly erased, replaced with leftist dogma and belief that the USA is a very bad place that requires punishment. They make Hitler Youth out of your kids. Get them far way from these schools--quit your job, stay home & school your kids properly. These schools are not good babysitters! Look into Barney Charter Schools and other independent learning centers.
Defund the teachers' unions, fund charter schools or give rebates to parents who homeschool.
