The temple is very likely that which is referred to in Revelation as "Satan's Throne" (because of the shape and its location on a cliff above the city). It got relocated to Berlin and sat in a box for 2 decades, getting unpacked just in time to be used by Albert Speer. Hitler used to speak right on the bit which was copied directly. Possibly knowingly, given his interest in the occult.

Yeah I did, quite a cool ancient building and still in Germany. I wish we still made grand, imposing architecture. Crystalline box, prism, and butt-toy shaped modern buildings will never command as much respect as massive Greco-Roman stuff.
I LOVED Trump's "Make Federal Buildings Beautiful Again" campaign. It's still growing as a movement in the UK and Europe (especially the Netherlands). Everyone knows the styles of old buildings look good; the most expensive parts of cities are almost always the parts where you have nice 18th / 19th century or early 20th century buildings.
