Not sure how to interpret this article: Do they mean they asked about all 1.5 million, heard a response on 1mil and 560k are valid? Or did they ask about 1mil with 560k being valid and the rest are either bad or no response? I think that it's the latter, so the valid rate is currently under-reported (no response from county is treated as invalid).
It depends how LA County will be reported once those verification numbers come in. I think it will be a higher rejection rate than the other CA counties because of costal + big city corruption, but that's only a guess.
