Actually, the whole "Q" election thing depended on President Trump doing what was required, use the Insurrection Act or Martial Law and it would leave 10 days to fix everything, unless another election was to be done. Trump either lacked the balls at the moment, felt betrayed, helpless and alone...or The Establishment got to him and threatened him and his family. But I don't know.
