Diversifying the Texas grid was an effort to comply with Obama Federal Law. These Windmills were not built recently. That is besides the point. A local Democrat Jim Acasta is promoting a bill to supply another $38 Billion of Federal Dollars to the High Speed Rail that has already spent that same amount with nothing to show for it. It is a fucking joke.

The solution is always less government not more. More money wouldn't have solved the Texas problem because the funds would not have been used properly. The situation was mostly unavoidable. It was an unexpected risk that wasn't adequately prepared for. This happens when you centrally plan things. You fuck up. More money would not have solved anything.
Anyone who looks at the Texas situation as a case for giving governments more money is a moron.
