The climate is turning colder and we’re on the verge of a little ice-age due to the misguided efforts of the environmentalists fighting global warming. In five years we won’t have enough CO2 to warm the planet enough to sustain life. We should declare an “approaching ice-age” emergency and immediately repeal all environmental regulations passed in the past 20 years.
EDIT: All the serious replies to this tongue-in-cheek post illustrates why we lose. Arguing facts is much less effective than if we got out in front of cameras and screamed about the catastrophic cold caused by those evil democrats who have deprived plants of their life sustaining CO2 causing an alarming plunge in global temperature that is literally killing people as we watch.
Why do pesky creatures called humans think they can ultimately control Mother Earth ? I don't think recycling plastic bags and banning plastic straws would have helped the people living in the area of Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D. - if they had plastic to recyle. The Titanic has been at the bottom of the ocean for over a century and it's mostly recycled, gone back to nature. Thousands of years ago people were dealing with soil erosion and climate change - the exact same crap we are dealing with today. When they faced a crisis, their skill set improved. Unlike today.
