Since last summer I've been telling COVID fanatics in my social group to go look at the weekly influenza deaths from 2018 to now and explain the trend.

They either get red pilled or stammer something about "uhhh well social distancing and masks..." as if the flu really disappeared.

I’ve had the discussions with those type of people. Now they say “COVID is way more infectious than the flu which is why the masks are helping against the flu but not As effective against COVID”. I stare at them dumbfounded trying to figure out if doublethink is infectious too.

I usually respond with: “well, covid is about 125nm and the flu is from 80-120nm in size. If masks supposedly stop a virus that is smaller than covid, why are the masks not stopping covid too?”

They think the flu disappeared? Morons. It never disappears. It mutates.
