Same, pretty sure I had the flu but I’m not going to get a test just to “find out” the results after I’m fully recovered. If what I had was covid I’m ashamed the world shut down over this.
Loss of taste and smell is the result of zinc depletion. You can get it when fighting a viral infection. It just seems stark in Covid because we are talking about it it day in day out. The cure for Covid is to stop talking about it.
I had a nasty bought with a virus a year ago that resulted in the use of copious amounts of tissue paper, chills, and loss of taste/smell for about a week. If I went in today with those symptoms I'm almost certain I would be diagnosed with COVID-19.

If you lost taste/smell, it was Covid. If not, just the flu/cold. Easy to spot the difference now.
