Mark Steyn should. He is amazing. I love how he is obviously as revpilled as Rush and everybody here but he has to dumb it down for the boomer normies who listen. I laugh everytime he brings up the "Iran has no gay men because they chop off all their balls and make them trannies and identify as 'women's " segment
Mark has the ability to inject some humor and optimism into what would otherwise be bleak and depressing subjects for us. Rush was also able to do this and Rush had the ability to deliver redpills without needing to resort to repetitive talking points. Its one of the things that made me stick with Rush and tune out other conservative hosts. Mark was always the guest host I enjoyed the most. He's by no means a direct replacement for Rush, I don't think there is anyone out there who could fill his shoes, but Mark would make a good host for that time slot going forward.
I completely agree.
The other guest hosts are good, but I would often hear them say something, or deal with a caller in a way Rush would not have done.
Mark Steyn seems to really come from a very similar place philosophically as Rush.
I also love the Britishisms, Steyn's ability to be sarcastic or say things in novel ways that crack me up. Recently, he referred to Biden as the "sock puppet that someone is waggling about". I dunno, it just seems funny.
Steyn is the only clear host that could fill in for Rush. He has been there hosting for Rush for so many years now - he is is truly the ONLY one who knows Rush and is a real disciple of Rush...
But he's an undocumented guest host.
Boomer Normies can listen harder. We need a campaign to turn on closed captioning for these faggots. I can't hear worth a shit, that's what I do. As much as I like to rip off a string of convoluted insults in rapid succession as the next guy, Steyn just needs to slow down just a bit for those with brain lag. Dennis Miller could do it, although I lamented when he cut back on his arcane references.
Mark Steyn is imho by far the best guest host. I'd love to see him take over, if he is interested

I like Mark. Ken is good too, but his tone is heavy and hard to handle all the time.
I just want Jason Lewis back on the radio. Not necessarily to replace Rush, but I enjoyed his show.

Over time, I think the answer is Crowder. Crowder is the closest there is to the mix of substance, commentary, humor, and musical parody that Rush had in his early days. Rush really dialed down the music and humor in the last decade or so, so you have to look back to the 1990 era to see what I'm saying. I think Crowder does this very well - not as a clone of Rush, but by meeting those same needs in a fresh way. He's a good showman, he has substance, and he's still refining his craft.
People aren't going to see it that way. 2021 Crowder is not a drop-in replacement for 2021 Rush. No one is. Steyn, Levin, and Bongino can do Rush's format pretty well, and passably so to fill the time slot.
But over time, I think Crowder is the one to watch. He's younger now than Rush was in 1988.
