I knew this was coming, but it still hurts like hell. Like losing family almost. So many good memories listening to that man. Shaped my politics and probably saved me from getting indoctrinated in college.

You’re right... I’ve been listening to him since 1988 and I guess I’m just ok stepping back and reflecting. That’s an insane analogy of time to tune into a radio program. It’s incredible. I mean, not EVERY SINGLE DAY, Lol. But he really is a household name all over the world. My parents sort of knew him through the USMC black tie events or something like that and I feel like I have so many memories with Rush in them! I used to send them a case of the Rush tea every couple of months. I even got through and spoke to Bo Snerdley once!!
Rush was like everyone cool uncle. :) when I heard he passed I was gutted. They should start playing his shows from the first one so people can learn again.
Felt the same way when George Harrison died. We love you Rush!!
