I really don't get the outrage of Cruz over this. What the fuck is he supposed to do? Make it stop being cold? Become a helicopter pilot and spray down de-icing chemicals on the wind mills? Become a plumber and fix Nat gas pipes? This is a Texas state issue. The Texas state legislature and executive have the entire power here to get this resolved. He's a federal representative official with no sole power to reverse any of this shit. He can lobby for federal aid for his state (as can any other Congressman from the state and as Abbott likely has already done) but that's about it. Is he supposed to just stand by and be cold and kiss babies about it until it warms up? This is a dumb scandal and the msm knows it but they're squeezing it for all it's worth to avoid having to cover Cuomo wiping out thousands in his nursing homes.

WhAt iS cRuZ sUpPoSeD tO dO!!

Maybe volunteer and help less able neighbors in texas. Use his many connections and wealth to move in and disperse needed materials through churches and other group. There was Joe The Plumber who rescued over 130 people with his truck. Its amazing what a normal guy can do, imagine what Cruz could do if Joe the plumber could do that. Stop defending the all talk no bite, anti maga rhino whore. We are better than the libs, we have standards. Stop defending this fallible man.

It's just uniparty Kabuki. Cruz is a lightning rod for "the right," which is hilarious because he's a useless uniparty goon himself. But think of how many liberals will get wet and cream themselves over the idea of a "hypocrite Republican policitian." Easy ad money for media corps.

Cruz travels is a complete non-story. He isn't pro-lockdown.

Thing I don't get it's it's not like anyone just up and goes on vacation at the spur of the moment. He probably had been planning and looking forward to the trip for months. It's not his fault the state froze over when he planned a vacation

What a cesspool. Legacy news currently is a "he said/she said" mashup. Twitter is all outrage of the moment

Yep it's amazing how the Republicans always cower to the Democrats. There was absolutely no need for Ted Cruz to apologize for anything. If I lived in Texas and that weather became that severe and I could afford it I'd get the hell out too as I'm sure that many others did and would do the same. Republicans have to learn to quit apologizing. Look at all the sick sh!t that Hunter Biden did yet his dad was sworn in as President of the United States. And not one single Democrat apologized for what Hunter Biden did or for the quid pro quo done by Joe Biden.

I care about both. Ted wasn't around when the state needed him. And Hunter is a cousin fucker who took bribes for his dad.

You can care about both.

Why excuse any bad behavior.

As Mexican Ted Cruz is from Alberta, Canada he should be really familiar with cold weather, and able to help everyone due to that.

Just because he has a beard now doesn't mean he is your friend.

“The president’s language and rhetoric often goes too far. I think, yesterday in particular, the president’s language and rhetoric crossed the line and it was reckless,” Cruz said in an interview with ABC13 Houston.

“I disagree with it, and I have disagreed with the president’s language and rhetoric for the last four years,” the Texas Republican added. “If you looked to what I have said, you will not find me say the same language or rhetoric.”
