Gay bear here. I can't speak for other gay fellas but I've never seen any attempt to "recruit." I don't think it works like that? My fellow bears mostly come from closed communities of like minded people. I understand I am a biological abnormality, and it could be true that allowing gays out of the closet to could help breed it out. Or perhaps it's a result of something in the environment. Anyways, we're a very small percentage of the population.
