hmmm, how is that even possible when the TX grid is completely independent from federal regulation?

sounds to me like alex jones is trying to carry RINO abbott's jockstrap and trying to save his ass for 2022 because abbott is going to stupidly run for re-election vs beta o'rourke.

If you had read the document you'd see that the ruling was largely regarding emergency waivers for emissions and DOE is like "I guess kinda but not much".

Over a few days of increased NOx and CO when the power's out.

Nope. they have to seek outside green sources FIRST is what that legalese language means.

Yeah so basically they have a lot of limitations on using the stuff that works, but not on using the stuff that doesn't ;)

Our grid is not independent of federal regulation, Lord I wish it was.

I have no idea what info wars is trying to say but federal courts and regulations have forced Texas to accept wind generators despite our resistance to them here for the now obvious reasons. Texas is very much still under 'Reconstruction' in many ways, the courts always hammer us on shiite other States are allowed to do.

Our grid is 'mostly' separate, we tie in to the neighboring grids at a very few places for Reasons. We have plenty of power except when we are totally frozen, or except when the federal government shuts down pipelines and gas and such onerous things. If the federal government did not exist we would have more gas plants, more nukes, we would sell the rest of you power cheap.

The wind turbines can never be allowed to be a critical part of grid capacity, gas and coal and nuke power is much more reliable. But Agendas and chinese bribes caused wind turbines to be built here as gas and coal plants were torn down, over our very loud objections. I don't know if Abbot took money or Rick Perry took money but some of them did, probably more on the federal side because that's where the damn Agendas come from.

Abbot is wrong to blame ERCOT, ERCOT merely tries to manage what Texas gives them to manage. Yeah ERCOT is a problem but this is all on wind power, all of it.
